Vialogix Redesigns Journalbooks web site
CHARLOTTE, NC – July 30, 2009 – Vialogix, a Charlotte–based web development firm redesigned and launched the new journalbooks.com web site. The site was designed using inputs obtained during a Brand Identity redesign conducted with Mervil Paylor Design
“Vialogix created the site structure and design that allows us to show of far more products – but in a simple and easy-to-understand format,” said Tom O’Boyle, President and CEO. “The site will be the first experience many potential customers have with our company and we needed to show off the breadth and depth of our custom journal business as well as the longevity and service culture started by my father.
“Vialogix has architected and designed a site that shows many examples, demonstrates our custom abilities and even allows site visitors to virtually build their own book. The response from clients to the new site has been outstanding.”
Vialogix created a custom content management system to allow Journalbooks staff to create new carousel items, edit or add promotions and easily change product descriptions and imagery – all without needing HTML knowledge.
“It is very easy to help redesign a site when the client has a substantial story and identity,” said Rob Norris, Vialogix president. “Journalbooks had an easy story to tell and our job was to simplify and present this great company.”
