Vialogix Redesigns Miller Orthopaedic Clinic’s Web Site

CHARLOTTE, NC – April 8, 2002

Miller Orthopaedic Clinic, celebrating its 75th anniversary, chose Vialogix, the Charlotte-based web design company, to help them communicate their message of sub specialized orthopaedic care to the public.

Vialogix redesigned the Miller Orthopaedic Clinic’s five-year old web site, creating a comprehensive marketing site with several unique features. The web site not only tells the Miller Orthopaedic Clinic story and differentiates them from other area orthopaedic clinics, but also offers special e-care services to clinic patients.

“One of our strategic objectives is to leverage technology,” says Troy Bouzakis, vice president of Operations for Miller Orthopaedic Clinic. “We’re focusing on moving the flow of patients, information and resources throughout our organization in the most strategic, logical and efficient manner possible.”

One of the ways Vialogix helped Miller Orthopaedic Clinic meet its strategic goals was by including a number of interactive forms that link patients and the clinic’s staff. These forms allow patients to connect with Miller Orthopaedic Clinic via the Internet. Delivering simple, routine services via the Internet reduces the call volume for the nurses allowing them to spend more time with their patients.

In addition to the e-care features, the redesigned site also has links to “mini-sites” where Miller Orthopaedic Clinic doctors post their latest research, discuss their collaborative projects with world-renowned orthopedists and provide valuable patient information.
