Vialogix to Redesign First Citizen Bank’s Web Site

CHARLOTTE, NC – April 1, 2002 – Vialogix, a Charlotte-based Web design company, announced it has been chosen to redesign, build and user-test firstcitizens.com, the public Web site for Raleigh-based First Citizens Bank.

“We want our Web site to represent First Citizens’ brand of amazing customer service,” said Jeff Ward, executive vice president for the retail segment. “To accomplish that goal, our site needs to be a valuable resource for existing and potential customers. Vialogix took the time to understand our needs, get to know our customers and develop a plan that makes good business sense for us.”

The project will upgrade the design and layout of the Web site and incorporate First Citizens’ branding message, “Do something amazing.” The work will be completed later this year.

The new redesign assignment is Vialogix’s second Internet-based project for First Citizens. Last year, the Vialogix team used its extensive experience in bank-related applications to develop an online retail-banking interface for First Citizens. Vialogix’s contribution enhanced the bank’s Web site services for its online customers.
