N.C. Healthcare Group taps Vialogix for Web Upgrade

CHARLOTTE, NC – Oct. 31, 2001 – Novant Health has selected Vialogix to redesign and enhance its Internet site, the companies announced today.

Vialogix will provide the Charlotte-based healthcare group with strategic Web planning, full-scale redesign and implementation, and usability testing.

The redesign will focus on presenting timely, useful information to Novant patients, physicians and staff members, as well as potential patients.

Novant Health is a nonprofit healthcare system serving more than 2.2 million people in 32 counties, reaching from southern Virginia to northern South Carolina. Its eight in-patient hospitals in the Triad and Southern Piedmont regions account for nearly 2,000 licensed beds.

The system includes Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte and Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Other facilities and programs of Novant Health include three philanthropic foundations, three nursing home and senior residential facilities, physician clinics, outpatient surgery and diagnostic centers, rehabilitation programs, community health outreach programs and a school of nursing.
