Vialogix Delivers Real-time Customer Stats

CHARLOTTE, NC – November 29, 2000 – Thinkstock founder Ron Chapple accesses his site’s customer data anytime, anyplace thanks to Vialogix and his Web-enabled (WAP) cell phone. “In the days of legacy systems, I used to wait months for data,” states Chapple. “Now, with real-time access, critical decisions can be made anywhere, anytime.”

By adapting wireless technology, Vialogix programmer Bray Jones created a remote up-to-the-minute reporting function, delivering information that previously was only available to Thinkstock through weekly administrative reports. Using his WAP phone, Chapple has instant access to real-time statistics on the Thinkstock site, such as sales data, new customer registrations, and valuable other decision-making information. In addition to tracking sales and registration numbers, Chapple is able to follow frequent search terms and keywords, enabling him to better serve and respond to those visiting his site.

Vialogix president Rob Norris agrees. “Quality customer information is the most critical need of almost every business. Because we built the underlying CRM tool for Thinkstock, we were able to create wireless access to this knowledge in less than 2 days. Thinkstock’s competitors saw the solution last month in New York and are now rushing to catch up.”

All data is viewed over an SSL connection for security accessible only to the designated client through any wireless device with Internet capability—cell phone, wireless palm device, and of course, a good old fashioned computer.
