Vialogix Enhances First Union Internet Initiatives
CHARLOTTE, NC – Dec. 9, 1999 – Charlotte-based Internet developer, Vialogix Communications, Inc., recently collaborated with First Union’s E-Channel division to develop the design, functionality and customer interface of the bank’s online services area. Vialogix also helped implement the Personal Finance section of firstunion.com.
“Vialogix and First Union have collaborated on many Web-based projects in the past and have consistently shown their expertise in this field,” said Parrish Arturi, vice president of channel development for First Union. “Vialogix provided visual, technical, and strategic advice to our team that will help make First Union’s Online Services an industry leader. The Vialogix team has played an important part in our success and we value their role with First Union.”
Vialogix’s work included writing HTML code and working with the application developers to integrate First Union’s designs into a consistent and intuitive user interface.
“We listened to First Union’s customers and helped develop the first stage of a truly usable online banking service,” said Vialogix President Rob Norris. “First Union is leading the charge to develop customer-focused Internet financial services and we are proud to partner with them in their initiatives.”
For this and other Internet projects, Vialogix has maintained a continuous role with First Union National Bank since 1996. This includes strategic consulting with business unit owners, developing microsites within the firstunion.com domain and delivering project and technical support where needed by the E-Channel division.
